Music In Me

Private and group music lessons for musically adventurous children and adults (ages 4 through 104!) 

with Shelley Buisson.

Shelley is a private music teacher living in Moncure. She has lived and taught music in Chatham County and the Triangle for the past 18 years. Shelley is originally from Canada. She has recently remarried and together with her husband Eric, they have 6 adult children and four grandchildren.

 Two of her musical passions are jazz and early Medieval and Renaissance music, (though there are many more!). She loves leading students on the journey of musical self-discovery so they, too, can find their musical “passions”. 

Lessons are available in piano, guitar, ukulele, flute, recorder, music theory, and voice for students from age 4 through adult.

• Fall session- after Labor Day in September until early December (12 weeks)

• Winter session- first week of January until mid-April (12 weeks)

• Spring session- mid-April until mid-June (8 weeks)

• Summer session- mid-June until mid-August (8 weeks)

Lesson times are available Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings. Lessons are held in Shelley’s home studio, just south of Pittsboro.
