Shelley Buisson has taught music in Chatham county and the Triangle for the past 17 years. She began Music In Me with the desire to awaken and nurture the musical spark which we are all born with. The enjoyment of music, whether through playing an instrument, singing or tapping along while listening to a performance, is one of the true joys of life, and its practice has a meditative quality which can calm the mind and soothe the soul. It is a universal language which defies social and economic barriers, borders and ethnic divides. It is a pathway toward peace.
